Commercial animal photography—which encompasses and overlaps a wide range of both commercial pet photography and pet branding photography for pet businesses—doesn’t have to be boring or look the same as all the mainstream, popular brands we see these days. Including animals in your business imagery, creating brand images with animals included in them, or revamping existing commercial pet branding photography images can be A LOT of fun for everyone—you, me, and your animals (whether they’re dogs, cats, horses, guinea pigs, goldfish, or whatever)!
To stand out in an ocean of pet businesses—online and storefront—your pet business branding has to have custom images that set it apart and make people do a triple take. There’s so much more to having your pet business images stand out than some stock images that everyone and their dog (ha ha) is using.
Often, your pet business already has a commercial pet brand established and just needs an update or revamp of your image bank. While I love working with pet business owners who are looking to brand their businesses, I also enjoy the opportunity to help pet business owners rebrand by taking something old and outdated and making it new and shiny again. A commercial pet photography session (or ongoing, recurring sessions) can be so much fun—for your business and for mine—as we work together to put a new face to your brand.
Animals—like people—are all completely unique, so capturing their playful, inquisitive, mischievous, and quirky personalities is just the tip of the pet branding photography iceberg.
Let’s face it! A huge portion of pet owners these days buy certain pet products largely based on their pet branding and marketing, so to sell a pet brand (even if it’s the BEST out there on the market and should easily sell itself), the animal images have to be eye-catching, emotion-evoking, and extremely persuasive.
This is why I enjoy pet branding photography so much! It’s so challenging, but it also allows me to really tap into my love of animals and my creative instincts to not only capture the essence of the animal, but also produce that emotion you need to get attention for your brand.
Let’s put our heads together and find a way to capture the quality and character of your pet brand in the most remarkable way possible!
Commercial Animal Photography isn’t always about pet business branding. The two overlap, but are actually quite distinct forms of photography. Commercial animal photography is imagery that includes animals in it and is meant to create an experience that pulls people in and makes them want to join in it. Pet branding photography uses pets in imagery to sell a product or service.
Places such as vet clinics, animal rescues, or some other kind of non-profit animal organizations meant to help animals or provide an experience are perfect candidates for commercial animal photography sessions. Maybe you need some updated images to hang on your walls, help get your rescue animals adopted, or help get the word out about upcoming fundraising events? If so, a commercial animal photo session is perfect for you.
Whatever kind of commercial animal photography you need, I’m in as long as I get to photograph and be surrounded by animals.
